Spread Betting Companies

Some spread betting websites have higher spreads, while others have lower margin requirement. Some betting websites have ability to place trade, close and take profit all at the same time as when you place an order. You need to check which one suit your requirement best.

• www.capitalspreads.com --- It has a virtual trading account which you can try before putting real monies into it and there is no time limit. It even has charts with ability to draw lines and technical analysis indicators. The FTSE 100 SPREAD is 1 inside trading hour which is a lot better than other companies.

• www.tradindex.com ---Minimum bet from £1 per point. You can switch between it's permanent virtual trading platform (no time limit) and real trade. No live /delay charting tools where you can draw line, but has smaller margin requirement

• www.cityindex.com

• www.finspreads.com --- You can trade from 1p per point for the 1st 8 weeks, then minimum bet is 50p per point.

• www.cantorindex.co.uk

• www.cmcmarket.co.uk--ask for Marketmaker trading software as well. If you trade from home, use this spread betting company trading software to draw the fibonacci retracements line to whatever % levels you want, like 161.8, 261.8, 78.6% etc. Remember a few fib retracement levels I showed on a few pages. That's what I used.

• www.igindex.co.uk ---Minimum bet starts from £2 per point.

Don't forget use buy /sell stop, limit order for your entry and exit of the trade. And don't forget the important stop loss!.

If you are American or non UK resident, then spread betting is not for you. If you are unemployed, and do not have money you could afford to lose, then spread betting is not for you either. Don't forget to read the disclaimer.
